Anticlea was the queen of Ithaca. She is the mother of Odysseus, grandmother of Telemachus, and mother-in-law of Penelope. She speaks to Odysseus in The Underworld during Epic: The Musical.
Biography[]
Act 1[]
At some time during the Trojan War or during Odysseus' journey home, Anticlea died of a broken heart in Ithaca. In The Underworld, Odysseus hears his mother singing to him, promising to wait until he returned home. Sadly, Odysseus was only able to say bye to her after she was already dead.

- Anticlea is voiced by Jorge Rivera-Herrans' mother Wanda Herrans.
- Though it is never mentioned in the musical, Anticlea is Hermes' granddaughter through her father Autolycus. Also, she had a daughter named Ctimene, who married Eurylochus. Thus Anticlea is Eurylochus' mother-in-law.
