-Apollo ("God Games")
Apollo is the god of light, music, archery, healing, and prophecy. He is one of the Olympians and a son of Zeus. He serves as “Level 1” of Zeus' test for Athena during God Games in EPIC: The Musical.
Biography[]
Act 2[]
Apollo is invited by Zeus to test Athena as a pre-requisite for saving Odysseus from Calypso. In “Level 1” of God Games, Apollo explains to Athena that he is mad at Odysseus for killing several sirens, who make music that he finds enjoyable. Athena tells Apollo that killing those sirens was an act of self-defence since they intended to drown Odysseus and his crew, and now other sirens will avoid him, letting them sing their songs in peace. After this, Apollo says Odysseus should be released.
