Telemachus is the prince of Ithaca. He is the son of Odysseus and Penelope, and the friend of Athena. He serves as a deuteragonist of The Wisdom Saga and tritagonist of the Ithaca Saga.

Personality[]

Telemachus is an idealistic young man who dreams of being a legend to live up to his absent father, and have the strength to protect his mother from the lecherous suitors invading their home. He expresses a desire for more action and adventure.

He has a great deal of love and respect for both of his parents equally. He shows deep admiration towards his mother's steadfast resolve to not remarry despite the many suitors who continue to harass her in their own home and laments that he isn't strong enough to help her more. He is also shown to be quite protective of his mother and doesn't take it kindly when the suitors insult or threaten her getting into a fight he's vastly outmatched in to defend her honor.

Biography[]

Telemachus was born to King Odysseus and Queen Penelope of Ithaca, just before his father was called to fight in the Trojan War. The young prince was raised by his mother, his grandmother Anticlea and his father's trusted servants. For most of his life, he grew up in a palace which was occupied by 108 suitors who ate all of Odysseus' livestock and drank his wine while waiting for Penelope to marry one of them, presuming that, with the return of almost all of the other Greek princes who took part in the war with Troy, Odysseus had died in the war or on the return voyage.

Trivia[]

The nickname "little wolf" is referencing Odysseus when Poseidon says "Guess the pack of wolves is swimming with the shark now". He calls Odysseus and the crew wolves in "Ruthlessne ss.”
His instruments are an indie piano, an acoustic guitar, and a string ensemble. The acoustic guitar being a reference to his father, the string ensemble being a reference to his mother, and an indie piano as a reference to Athena, his mentor.
